Diana of London Super Fine Intense Rich Black Liner | Review

Hello fellows, fall is here (almost!) and I am totally digging the winged eyeliner and bold lips look for this season. Oh well, you need no reason for a winged eyeliner, do you? Whatever the occasion, whatever the outfit, winged liner always looks classy. Some people find it really hard to get that perfect winged look ( I feel your pain) but I believe with practice and the right tool, anyone can nail it. I've always been a fan of marker/pen eye liners cause I feel they give me control over the thinness or thickness and the type of look I want to go for. I heard good reviews about Diana of London super intense rich black liner and decided to give it a try.

About the product
Diana Super fine intense rich eyeliner, Long lasting & quick drying. Easy to handle with ultimate control & accuracy. High – tech & innovative ultra fine tip ensures an even and precise application. Dermatologically approved.

Application Tip
For an intense oriental look: Use Diana super fine eyeliner pen, close to the bottom and top lash line.

I'm going to start off by saying I am in love with this liner. Period. From the packaging, it looks like a thin black marker/pen. It has a long tip, which is slightly longer than the tip of liners I have used before. But the tip is soft and makes the application very smooth.

The thin and long tip helps you give the ultimate precision. I believe that pen liners are so much easier to apply than the gel liners and they appear so much neat. It has a rich black color which you can get in one stroke.
I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes but thanks to its smudge-free formula, I don't end up looking like a panda. It dries within minutes of applying. It stays for a long time on your eyes without fading away.

I've never been a fan of water proof eye liners cause I feel they appear shiny, but this one has a matte finish.
You may find a little hard to remove it, try using any cleansing milk. I use ponds milk cleanser.

All in all, I love its smooth application and rich black color. It lives up to its claims. Either you want to go for a standard winged liner look or the dramatic one, this liner is what you need.

The Good
Easy application
Long lasting
Intense black color

The Bad

I got it for 960rs ($9.5) which is a little pricey for a plain black liner.

Thanks for reading :) Are you a sucker for winged liner?

Orglow Instant Organic Face Brightening Mask | Review

Happy Eid people! Today I'm going to review the Orglow instant organic face brightening mask.

About the Product
Hand made with love and fresh ingredients. 100% natural.
Best used fresh or uptill 6 months after opening.
Get ready to glow.

What It Claims:
For all skin types

Starting off with the packaging as always, it comes in a white round plastic jar which contains sufficient amount of the product inside. The packaging isn't fancy or anything, but who cares about the packaging, when you've got good stuff inside, right? The mask is in powder form and the instructions on how to use it, are printed on the jar.

Mix 1 leveled tablespoon of Orglow organic mask with one tablespoon of yogurt. Add 2 drops of glycerin (for dry skin) or 2 drops of rose water (for oily skin).
(It doesn't say anything for the combination skin type, maybe one drop of each? Just kidding)

Mix it well, then apply the paste all over your face and neck. Let it dry for 5-10 minutes. Once the mask is dry, rinse off gently with very light circular movements. DO NOT rub off. I rubbed it around my nose when I tried it the first time, and that resulted in redness on that area.

The Orglow organic mask claims to brightens, tightens and whitens the skin.
I don't get facials or skin treatments from the parlor because I've got really sensitive skin. I totally avoid applying any unnecessary chemicals on my face. The reason I wanted this mask so bad was that it's all organic. The first time I tried it, I had my fingers crossed. And I was really happy with the results, it gave an instant glow to the face and my skin felt soft and smooth.

After I washed my face I asked my mom if she sees any difference and she went, 'your face looks clean'. That means mommy approved. Case closed. haha. No seriously, you can see the result instantly, and I love anything that gives me instant results.
Also it's organic, which means you can use this mask 2-3 times a week.
It does not exactly whitens the face, I've been using it for a month and I did not notice any difference. I'm still tan. Thank you Pakistani Summer.

Now let's talk about the only downside to the Orglow organic face mask: it's smell. It has a strong smell and it's not a pleasant one. I've got a sensitive nose and it's really hard for me to stand that smell during that 10 minutes. I guess the strong smell is due to the fact that there are no artificial ingredients used in this mask.
Whatever the reason, if you're getting an instant glow on your face and your skin feels baby soft in just 10 minutes, I don't think the smell can be a deal breaker.

All in all I'm loving this mask. I've been using it before getting ready for any event. Works well for my dry and sensitive skin. Makes my skin soft and gives it an instant brightening look. The smell irritates me a bit but I think I can live with that.
I would totally recommend getting the Orglow brightening mask if you want that beautiful glow.

You can get the Orglow Instant Organic Face Brightening Mask for 850rs (8.5$) from Orglow facebook page here
