Jewelry Haul | Summer Edition

Hello there, someone may or may not have done a little shopping teehee, ergo for today's post I'm going to do a little jewelry haul to share with you lovelies some of the newest addition to my collection.

Let's start off with this gorgeous statement necklace that I got from Nishat Linen accessories. I'm a sucker for statement necklaces *guilty* this one is a bold and unique piece of jewelry. I really like the statement necklace that Caroline wears in '2 broke girls' and kinda wanted something similar to it.
So you can tell I was pretty pumped when I found this baby. The chunky pearls are not too big or too small they fit perfectly with the gold detailing. Also I love how gold and white goes with pretty much everything. Last thing to mention is that it looks quite heavy but the pearls are really light weight.
Another statement necklace that I got from Maria.B. It's a cool sea green color and I like pairing it with white or pastel colored shirts. The necklace is very light weight. I really like this color for summer cause it just gives that cool, soothing effect.

This dainty necklace is also from Nishat Linen accessories, it is a double chain necklace. So you get two for the price of one, yay. The only reason I bought this necklace was the disco ball (yes that's what I like to call it).

Okay I promise this is the last statement necklace for this haul. It's all chains and is quite heavy. My sister said it looks something like a neck chain for a prisoner, oh well :p this one is bit on the edgy side and I like pairing it with dark colors. This is from Outfitters, I don't know why the chains looks so weird in the picture, they're fine trust me.

Ze cute little owl! This is by far my favorite pair of studs, love wearing it on daily basis. It's from Accessorize.

Love me some neon earrings. It's pink, very light weight and super adorable, I mean what's not to love. It's from Montini.

This pair of Chandelier earrings is also from Montini. I like the variety of colors and dangling chains in it.

(Left) Montini (Right) H & M

It's been a very long time since I own a pair of hoop earing. I'm pretty excited for the gold hoops and I'm gonna try and bring the hoops back :p It's from Forever 21 and the purple beads hoop are from H & M.

This is it for today's haul. Thanks for reading :)

Chanleevi Lipsticks | Review & Swatchs

Hello, I feel like I do a lot of lip products reviews, but that's mainly because whenever I'm out shopping for cosmetics I always gravitate towards the lip products. Last week I saw this great deal on lipsticks on a facebook page and I couldn't stop my self from placing the order. These lipstciks are from brand Chanleevi. I've never heard of this brand and even though I tried to Google it, didn't really find anything. All I know is that these lipsticks are made in China, (it's mentioned under the lipsticks)
Okay let's talk about the pink box below in the picture, for a minute, I've bought so much stuff from online stores but have never received anything in such a cute box before. I mean just look at it, isn't it cute. So I received my lipsticks in this pink cardboard box with stripes on it. I mean they could've sent the lipsticks in a boring packet but they didn't and I love them for that. I'm totally using this box for keeping my rings or earing.

I don't think any girl would say she doesn't like something just because it's pink :p same is the case with the packaging here, it's pink in color, super chic and I love it. The case is transparent  and 'lipstick' is written all over the upper lid and there's a flower pattern as well. There is a transparent window on top of the lipstick which makes it easy to look for the shade. Over all I would give the packaging 4/5, and -1 is because I feel the upper lid could be easily broken if you drop it or something. It's not quite sturdy, and I'll have to be extra careful with it.

(sunlight) L-R 22, 14,19

Shade 22
It is a very pretty red, not too deep and not too bright. What I like is that it could be worn easily without any base. It complimented my skin tone very well.

Shade 19
This shade looks very much similar to shade 22 and is pretty much the same except that there's a hint of orange if you pay close attention. When I applied both the shades I couldn't really tell the difference.
I came to the conclusion that applying 3-4 layers gives you almost the same result as shade 22.Almost. But when I used it as a tint and just dabbed it on my lips then I could see the actual deep orange shade. You can tell from the swatch as well that there's very little difference.

Shade 14
My favorite shade of the three. It is a Barbie pink color which is so adorable. I can't remember the last time I adored a pink color this much. It reminds me of cotton candy and I just want to eat it so bad.

My thoughts:
I've talked about the packaging, so let's start with the color payoff. The pigmentation of these lipsticks is really good. More swipe equals to more deeper shade. I didn't need more than 2 swipes to get my desired shade. I love how all three lipsticks are super matt, no glitter, no shine, no drama just plain matte. I didn't expect these lipsticks to give such a good matte result, the fact that I've never really heard of this brand, it's pretty unknown and I thought the result would be somewhere between matte and glossy but I was surprised, in a good way.
Next thing that I'm going to discuss now is probably the #bestest thing, and that is the staying power. Yes, these lipsticks had me at the matte-result but the staying power was just a cherry on top. It lasted on my lips for 6plus hours and during that time I ate, twice, and had water a couple of times. And it just stayed on the lips, I mean how awesome is that. Even after 6 hours it faded a little but the color was still quite fresh and I did not had to do any touch ups. It reminded me of the Rivaj lipstick that was one of my favorites last year, that too was matte with great staying power.
The scent is quite weird, it smells a little like medice. But as the scent is not that strong, it wouldn't really bother. I've got a sensitive nose and that's the reason I could tell or else you'll have to stick it very close to your nose to smell it.
Once you apply them, they don't feel heavy on the lips but the application could be a little tricky as the lipsticks are a quite dry and you have to be careful or else you can break it in half if you put too much pressure.
Final Verdict:
All in all I'm happy that I ordered these lipstick. Loved the packaging even though the plastic is not quite sturdy. The color pay off is really good with great lasting power which stays up to 6plus hours. If you're fan of matte lipsticks, I suggest you go and grab them.
I got this deal for 1100rs from Sophia Collection on facebook.
The Good:
Great lasting power
Cute packaging
Color payoff is good
The Bad:
Smells weird
Packaging not so sturdy
Thanks you for reading :)

Catrice Infinite Shine Lip Gloss - 110 Tangerine Tango | Review & Swatch

Hi there lovelies, how's your weekend going? I decided to do a quick review about the lip gloss that I purchased recently. I got this lip gloss to pair it with my Essence lipstick in the shade Coral Calling that I've been using quite a lot lately. You can read my review on it over here
I wanted a lip gloss that I could layer it over the lipstick to give a nice finished look. But, I didn't want to spend a lot money so I ended up getting Catrice Infinite Shine lip gloss in the shade Tangerine Tango.

About the product:
The next generation of CATRICE lip gloss for intense shine and bright colors. Thanks to its moisturizing formula, the Infinite Shine Lip Gloss guarantees gorgeous pampered lips without leaving behind a sticky sensation.
Available in a large choice of 13 shades ranging from subtle to dramatic.

In my experience:
First of all let me just say how fancy the name is, it reminds of a beach party with cocktails for some reason. It is such a beautiful coral-orangey color which looks too bright in the tube but after the application you can only see a hint of coral on your lips.
It has a doe-foot applicator and I like it cause I feel like it gives me more control than a brush applicator. The application of the lip gloss is also easier with this applicator. About the scent, it smells a little like medicine, like a syrup. That is a negative point for me. Other than that I believe it is a good product which could be best used to layer over a lipstick during the night time and for a day time you could wear it to get a nice hint of color. It gives a shiny finish. The staying power like most of the lip glosses is not too impressive, it lasts for about three hours after drinking. I felt like after three hours the color disappeared but the lips were still kind of shiny and felt quite moisturized.
What it claims:
  • Keeps lips smooth and intensely moisturized.
  • Non-stick
It lives up to its claims, it does make your lips super moisturized, even after the color disappears. I didn't feel the need to apply a lip balm for 4-5 hours. And it is non sticky, doesn't irritate and migrates from your lips.

Price? Would I repurchase it?
I got it for 580rs ($6) from Scentsation.
Probably yes, actually would like to try it in other shades.

June Favorites

Hey there, today I decided to do my first monthly favorites. I've been going out quite a lot the past few weeks, birthday parties, engagements, get together and what not. Therefore I got to try a couple of things. So here it goes.

Rimmel Match Perfection 2 in 1
About the Product:
Conceal signs of fatigue
Highlight & Illuminate eye area
Soft precision brush for the delicate under-eye area

My Thoughts:
This product is a miracle worker, hands down to the best drug store concealer I've used so far. It does not dry my under eye skin and blends beautifully. I've had really bad under eye circles over the past few months but this 2 in 1 not only conceals my under eye circles but highlights the area as well which gives my eyes an instant brightening look. The texture of the concealer is creamy. It comes in a squeeze tube, and is quite travel friendly.

Physicians Formula Bronzer
About the product:
This vibrant pink heart gives cheeks a healthy pop of color. Infused with Physician's Formula Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress. The sweet scent of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply. Hypoallergenic. Paraben free. Dermatologist approved. Non-Comedogenic.

My Thoughts:
Pigmentation is really good and it is easily blendable. It looks quite natural on the face and I like how there is shimmer in it as it gives a natural looking glow and a sun kissed looked.
It has variations of shades and the little pink heart gives a nice pop of color. Perfect for daytime as well as night time.

Rivaj UK R03:
I got this brush from Hyper Star Lahore last year but never really got a chance to use it. But now that I've used it, there's no going back. It is so soft, like oh so soft! I use it for applying blush and face powder for setting my makeup.

Maybelline Baby Lips:
About the Product:
No more basic lip balm.
Our exclusive formula moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours.
Lips are renewed after 1 week* (*Based on panelists’ self-evaluations)
In 6 varieties

My thoughts:
It makes my lips soft and smells so good. I use it in the shade Pink Punch which gives a hint of pink
to the lips. My lips gets dry even in the summers, so this is a life saver, keeps them moisturized for hours.

Eye Pencils:
Summer is all about pop of colors, and for that reason I've been using essence long lasting eye pencil in shade Cool Down. It is dark and kind-of-electric-blue in color and gives such a summer'y look when used as an eye liner.
For black liner, I've been using Maybelline Colossal Kajal and essence kajal pencil in shade white for my waterline.

Dancing Waters Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel:
About the Product:
Spread love, not germs! Our miniature must-have contains natural ingredients and powerful germ killers that get hands fresh and clean on-the-go with your fave fragrance!
My Thoughts:
The smell is quite strong for a sanitizer but it is so good. I love how it has little blue particles in it. When applied, it gives an instant refreshing feeling that I can't really describe but it's like wow.
That's it for today. Thanks for reading :)
What are your favorites for the month? Let me know in the comment below, I would love to try a few new things.
